Trailblazing festival organiser and DJ Rob da Bank has given his seal of approval to Festibelly.
The festival season is more crowded than ever, with virtually every weekend giving fans a range of choices. Events need something special to stick out from the crowd, and Festibelly does just that.
Founded in 2008 as a small outdoor party with a capacity of just 500, since then Festibelly has grown without losing its close knit atmosphere. Set in the New Forest, the event now holds more than 2000 fans.
The intimate vibe remains, despite some big name headliners. This year The Big Pink are set to perform, following the enormous success of their debut album.
The band have become festival favourites, with tracks such as 'Dominoes' going down a storm at T In The Park and more. Elsewhere, King Charles are due to perform while newcomers Man Like Me are also planning to attend.
London electro rockers My Tiger My Timing are fresh from an appearance on a Modular compilation, and the fast rising group are sure to get the party started. Other names on the bill include dubstep mavericks Tek-One, O. Children and nu-folk darling Johnny Flynn.
Amongst the latest additions to the Festibelly line up is Rob da Bank. "I'm really excited to be playing Festibelly. I like to support smaller and emerging festivals and Festibelly is definitely one of the best of the new breed."
The DJ is a festival veteran, having curated Camp Bestival and Bestival for almost a decade. Playing slots up and down the country,
Other new additions to the bill include Marmaduke Dando, Rob Cowen & The Dissidents, Skinny Lister, Chancery Blame & The Gadjo Club, Tablesale and more.
Festibelly takes place between August 28th - 29th.
