Urban lifestyle brand Eastpak have confirmed the sixth edition of their Europe wide punk rock tour.
Established six years ago, the Eastpak Antidote Tour has become a fixture on the punk rock calendar. Mixing up different styles and reputations, the shows bring a rolling revue to cities across Europe.
Returning for another blast of musical mayhem, the tour has confirmed its three main headliners. Openers Veara hail from Augusta, Georgia and have a definite Southern passion running through their music.
Signed to hugely influential underground label Epitaph, Veara mix a pop touch to some vintage hardcore riffs. Releasing their debut album 'What We Left Behind' earlier this year, the band have blown the lid off the fertile Georgia punk scene.
Also set to return to the Eastpak Antidote tour are The Riverboat Gamblers. Cocky to the point of near arrogance, the band match the attitude of The Melvins to a rootsy, garage-rock feel which is already gaining plaudits.
Hugely respected Californian group The Black Pacific have built their reputation on updating the hardcore sound. However with their new album veering off into an experimental new direction the band have split fans and critics alike.
With their performance bound to be controversial, The Black Pacific have been matched to a sure fire crowd pleaser. Sum 41 are massive, making headline news wherever they choose to go.
Putting the finishing touches to their new album 'Screaming Bloody Murder' the band have added some heavy metal traces to their punk sentiments. No doubt set to please their fans and infuriate the critics, the album will drop just as the Eastpak Antidote tour gets under way.
Set to move across Europe, the tour touches down in Britain on October 27th. Hitting London on October 29th, the run finishes with a show in Bristol on November 3rd before travelling to the continent.
