Dance giants Leftfield have added a second Glasgow show to their upcoming British tour.
Leftfield are back, single handily responsible for making Britain a louder place. In their prime the band's soundsystem was once banned from Brixton Academy, on the grounds that it made the roof collapse.
Going on hiatus in 2000, the band decided to return earlier this year. Led by Neil Barnes, the new show has plenty of respect for Leftfield's achievements and remains true to their substantial legacy.
Playing a host of festivals across Europe and beyond, Leftfield demonstrated that their music has not aged. Sounding as ferocious as ever, the band's influence can be felt across the bass scene.
Now the group have confirmed a lengthy British tour. Kicking off on November 18th tickets for the shows went on sale just a few weeks ago, with fans rushing to claim their passes for the band's largest UK tour in a decade.
Already some dates are close to selling out, with Leftfield being forced to add a second Glasgow show to cope with demand. Taking place on November 20th, the initial date is now completely sold out.
Adding an additional show, Leftfield are due to play the O2 Academy venue on November 21st. Tickets for that show are on sale now, with disappointed fans rushing to pick up their passes.
Moving across the UK, Leftfield will finish the tour at the Brixton Academy on December 3rd. The venue has obviously forgiven the band, who will be forced to use a different soundsystem for the show.
Leftfield will play the following shows:
November
18 Leeds O2 Academy
19 Manchester Apollo
20 Glasgow Barrowlands (SOLD OUT)
21 Glasgow O2 Academy
25 Liverpool University
26 Bournemouth O2 Academy
27 Plymouth Pavilions
December
2 Bristol O2 Academy
3 London Brixton Academy
