Interpol have added several new shows to their forthcoming British tour next March.
Interpol have lost one member, but gained two new musicians. Bass player Carlos D bade the group farewell earlier this year, leaving a gaping hole where his immaculately clad figure would have been.
Going back to the drawing board, Interpol worked on their live sound. Recruiting two new members, the New Yorkers have been joined by Dave Pajo whose work with Zwan has no doubt prepared the guitarist for the band's epic gloom.
Revamping their live sound to reflect a new found love of synthesisers, the band recently completed an epic North American jaunt.
Releasing their fourth album earlier this month, Interpol confirmed a series of British tour dates. Opening on November 24th, the upcoming shows take in dates across the country before finishing with a trio of London performances.
Taking control of the Brixton Academy, Interpol have confirmed three nights to end the show. The band recently adding a third show, ending their Winter tour with some no doubt epic London performances.
Tickets for the shows are already close to selling out, but fans eager for a fix of Interpol needn't worry - the band are due to return in 2011. Arranging a series of tour dates in March, the shows open in Bournemouth.
Arranging a four date burst, the New Year tour will end in Leeds O2 Academy on March 22nd.
Tickets for the new shows will go on sale from Friday (October 1st).
