Iron & Wine have announced plans for a series of full band tour dates in March.
Centred on Sam Beam, Iron & Wine expand and subtract as appropriate. Taking time off, the band announced their return with a spellbinding slot at this summer's End Of The Road festival, breezing through their back catalogue.
On relaxed form, Iron & Wine still reached some heights of intensity. The American group focussed on previously released material, but still hinted at the possibility of soon to be released new material.
Speaking to Spin recently, Sam Beam revealed more about the forthcoming material. Apparently more 'pop' in direction, the upcoming album is set to hit record shops in the opening weeks of 2011.
'Kiss Each Other Clean' is a typically allusive title from Iron & Wine, who have followed this news with a tour announcement.
Starting next March, the Californian group are set to hit the road for a series of British dates. Beginning with a show in London's historic Roundhouse venue Iron & Wine are preparing for a full band performance.
Moving across the country, Iron & Wine are set to play special dates in Birmingham, Edinburgh, Liverpool and more. Moving across to Dublin for a one off Irish show, the tour comes to a close in Leeds on March 17th.
Tickets for all shows go on sale this Thursday (October 28th) except for Manchester where tickets will go on sale from Friday (October 29th).
