Basement Jaxx are set to re-visit their early recordings when their label 'Atlantic Jaxx' comes to iTunes.

Basement Jaxx began as a clubnight, with Felix Buxton and Simon Ratcliffe playing hard hitting house. Earning a cult following, the pair managed to survive amid the twin onslaught of techno and drum 'n' bass.

Forming the Atlantic Jaxx Recordings label, the two began releasing their own productions. A string of seminal EPs followed, proving that British house could be tough enough to storm dancefloors across the world.

Signing other acts, Atlantic Jaxx became a cult imprint. When Basement Jaxx cracked the mainstream with 'Remedy' the label gained a new found prominence, allowing the duo to sign an eclectic array of acts.

Atlantic Jaxx moved from straight up house to other underground styles, releasing a string of cheeky bootlegs.

Licensed to iTunes, Basement Jaxx have opened up the vaults of their imprint. Amongst the treasures on display are early EPs from Felix Buxton and Simon Ratcliffe, featuring club hits such as 'Be Free' and 'Samba Magic'.

On display will be the first ever Basement Jaxx track, titled 'Deep Inside Your Love'. Taken from the long deleted 'EP 1' the track was recorded at the duo's primitive home studio somewhere in London.

Available to download, Basement Jaxx have rifled through the vaults for something a little extra. The duo have mixed together some of their most potent early material, to produce an exclusive one hour mix.
