Mumford & Sons are preparing to release a new live album recorded in London earlier this year.
The rise of Mumford & Sons has been fascinating to watch. The London folk types released their debut album 'Sigh No More' last year, with the breezy collection of acoustic hymns by no means chart fodder.
But relentless touring has broken them across the UK, with huge word of mouth hype surrounding the album. Becoming a bestseller, Mumford & Sons have chalked up larger and larger shows.
Yet its not just the UK which has succumbed to their charms. Mumford & Sons have made inroads in the United States, where 'Sigh No More' recently crept into the Top 20 after a similar campaign of touring.
Now the London based outfit are set to re-visit the album on a special live recording. Caught in action at the O2 Shepherds Bush Empire earlier this year, the album will be available as a special download.
Capturing the Mumford & Sons live experience, the band are on fiery form. Blasting through their debut album, new track 'Hold On To What You Believe' is also given an airing.
Aside from audio, fans can watch a DVD featuring three short films. Accompanying Mumford & Sons across the UK, the United States and even to India the documentary shows some never before seen footage.
Available as a download, the extra content will also be sold as a physical edition through Mumford & Sons official website. If fans already have the album, they will be able to download the bonus content.
Meanwhile, there has been no official word from Mumford & Sons camp about a recent backstage incident. The Fall's Mark E Smith allegedly threw a bottle at the band, while rehearsing for Ireland's Electric Circus.
