Recording a series of guitar led vignettes earlier this year, Jack Tatum has watched the tracks take on a life of their own.
Forming the side project Wild Nothing the group's material leaked out across the internet. Signed to Captured Tracks, the group's nostalgia heavy brand of dream pop stunned anyone who stumbled across it.
Spreading via word of mouth, Jack Tatum was forced to form a touring band. Playing a handful of dates in North America and Europe, the live show reveals a real muscle to Wild Nothing's songwriting.
Collecting together a number of odds and ends which didn't make it onto 'Gemini' Wild Nothing returned recently with a new EP. 'Golden Haze' emerged in September, emphasising that their debit album was no fluke.
Effortlessly evoking a lingering childhood, influences include Cocteau Twins, The Cure and more. Now Wild Nothing have announced a series of British tour dates to see out the year, running throughout November.
As preparation, ClashMusic has grabbed the track 'Golden Haze' as a free download. Tour dates after the jump!
