John Lydon has placed a series of 'golden tickets' in random copies of his forthcoming book.
John Lydon has lead a fairly incredible life. Born in London, the young singer became a punk face as part of The Sex Pistols. As the band reached notoriety, Johnny Rotten became internationally renowned.
Never happy in this role, John Lydon began using his own name and formed Public Image Limited. Releasing a series of dense, inspiring albums the group eventually shuddered to a halt in 1993.
Since then, Lydon has reformed The Sex Pistols, sold butter and led a rejuvenated PiL. Now the singer is set to craft a limited edition book detailing his life story, including rare photos and jotted down memories.
'Mr Rotten's Scrapbook' will be available in a limited edition of just 750, with fans rushing to grab a copy. Now the singer has announced that 100 golden tickets will be randomly inserted into the print run.
Each ticket entitles the holder to a ten minute one on one webchat with John Lydon himself, with the winner able to ask anything they want.
John Lydon released a handwritten quote:
"In memory of Cliff Richard getting robbed in the Euro- Vision Song Contest early 70’s (I Hope).
Golden ticket or wicket!
Trick or treat, enter at your own peril.
CongraDulations
----John Lydon”
'Mr Rotten's Scrapbook' is available from December 1st. More information HERE.
