Richard Ashcroft has confirmed details of a one off fan club show at an intimate date in London.

As the lead singer of The Verve, Richard Ashcroft was an icon. However the singer has struggled to find consistency on his own, moving from project to project without settling down in one place.

Recently reforming The Verve, Richard Ashcroft again stepped out on his own earlier this year. Forming the United Nations Of Sound, the songwriter began working with dance producers and rappers.

Releasing their debut album, the result was typically mixed. Falling someway short of The Verve's peak, Richard Ashcroft endured critical scorn but was praised by fans for moving beyond his 'dad rock' reputation.

Finishing the year with a series of shows, Richard Ashcroft is now plotting his next move. Taking time off to focus, the singer has agreed to play a one off date as a gift to members of his fan club.

Taking place on December 7th, the singer will perform at Islington Union Chapel. An intimate venue, tickets will initially be restricted to members of the Richard Ashcroft Fan Club, The RPA Club.

Performing a mixture of old favourites, new tracks and rarities Richard Ashcroft will be appearing without any accompaniment. For more details on fan club tickets click HERE.

Any tickets which are not sold will be made available to the general public. Numbers will be extremely limited with all proceeds going to the War Child charity.

On sale from Monday (November 29th) tickets will be priced at £55 each.

Richard Ashcroft is set to play the following show:
