Soundwave Festival has revealed the first names on the bill for next summer's event.
With cheap flights becoming more readily available, British music fans are being tempted abroad for their festival thrills. More and more people are making the effort to travel, with a host of new events springing up as a result.
Held in Croatia, Soundwave Festival is already garnering acclaim. Returning for another instalment next year, organisers have unveiled the first names on an already impressive line up.
Amongst the headliners are London based chill out merchants Zero 7. A fantastic soundtrack to a lazy summer day the group are festival veterans, with plenty of new material to file away alongside the classics.
Elsewhere, soulful Tru Thoughts trio Belleruche are due to make the journey to Croatia, and they may well recognise a few more names on the bill.
Legendary funk and soul DJ Keb Darge is set to perform, with his sets continuing to be in demand. Famed for his Deep Funk nights at London venue Madame Jojos, Darge is simply one of the finest soul jocks on the planet.
Elsewhere, Mercury award winning musician turned UK Funky star Jamie xx will perform with Lazy Habits, DJ Format and more on the bill. Bringing up the rear, legendary reggae collective Channel One Soundsystem are planning to make an appearance, bringing some famously good vibes to Croatia.
Flights can be booked alongside tickets, with early bird deals meaning that a trip to Soundwave could cost as little as £130. Boasting three days of music, a fantastic landscape and an easy going atmosphere, Soundwave will be destination of choice for many British fans next summer.
Soundwave takes place between July 22nd - 24th.
