Frightened Rabbit are set to stream a special acoustic show as a 'thank you' to fans.
In case you hadn't noticed, the weather has taken a turn for the worse. A week of near constant snow and stormy weather has played havok with the country's transport system, leading to a host of cancellations.
Battling through the snow, Frightened Rabbit capped a memorable year with a sold out show at Glasgow's Barrowlands venue. However due to extensive transport difficulties some fans (including ClashMusic) couldn't make it through for the show.
As a result, Frightened Rabbit have decided to play a one off acoustic show before their second Barrowlands performance.
Taking place tonight (December 6th) at the Barrowlands, Frightened Rabbit have decided to stream the acoustic performance on their website. Expect fan favourites, rare tracks and the odd festive favourite or two.

In a statement, Frightened Rabbit thanked fans for their support. "Have you heard the news??? It snowed. In winter. In Scotland. This is all very well and wintery and wondrous but unfortunately for some good folks, this white blight upon the nation meant missing our shows in Glasgow and London last week. We missed you!"
"So to make up for this we'll be streaming a short acoustic set from the Barrowlands dressing room today. We do wish we could come and play in all of your front rooms, but we don't have a fictional 'sleigh' to drive, nor any made up flying 'reindeer' to whip through the valleys. Some old fellow already took that idea... Prick."
"So throw a log on the fire, or sit next to that pile of old issues of Heat magazine, and join us for this performance."
