
Glasgow based indie types We Were Promised Jetpacks have sent fans a new Christmas message.
Forming in Edinburgh, We Were Promised Jetpacks settled in Glasgow to continue their studies. Becoming involved in the city's famously fertile indie scene, the band gained a cult following.
Attracting media interest, We Were Promised Jetpacks followed the Caledonian trail to Fat Cat Records. The band signed on the dotted line, following in the footsteps of Frightened Rabbit and Twilight Sad.
Debut album 'These Four Walls' soon followed, surprising many with its crisp indie rock bite. A mature debut for such a young group, We Were Promised Jetpacks toured across the country before taking a break.
Earlier this year the Glasgow based outfit returned with the EP 'The Last Place You'll Look' before knuckling down to work on their second album. In a new statement, We Were Promised Jetpacks have revealed that new material has been completed.
