London based electronic imprint Hyperdub has announced details of a special party at Berlin club Berghain.
Founded over five years ago, Hyperdub has grown to become one of the most important electronic imprints on the planet. A focal point for dubstep, the label's eclectic roster contains some challenging and exciting new music.
In the past 12 months alone, Hyperdub has released rightly hailed albums from Ikonika, King Midas Sound, Darkstar and more. Diversifying in new and unexpected ways, the label remains relevant where others have fallen by the wayside.
Now Hyperdub has arranged a spectacular event in Berlin. Taking place in the city's Berghain club the one off show will contain a stunning cross section of the London's labels celebrated roster.
Arranged in co-operation with Club Transmediale the upcoming event will feature a live performance from label head Kode9. Appearing with Spaceape in tow, the producer is expected to preview his forthcoming second album.
Kevin Martin's lover's rock inspired project King Midas Sound are also planning to make the journey, while synth duo Darkstar will perform in Berlin. Elsewhere, DJ sets are planned from Ikonika, DVA, grime producer Terror Danjah and Koke9 himself.
A stunning line up, Hyperdub have drawn together some of their finest acts for the Berghain show. Arguably one of the most important clubs on the European scene, Berghain sits at the centre of Germany's techno movement.
Retaining an illicit atmosphere, the Berghain has a famously minimal interior which features absolutely no mirrors. If you're the sort of person who checks their hair do during a DJ set then this really isn't for you...
Tickets are on sale now.
