Christmas comes but once a year...
So we'd better make the most of it. This morning, the ClashMusic team have donned their festive jumpers turning the office into a melange of dodgy knitwear, terrible cardigans and reindeer patterns.
And to think... we're supposed to be a style magazine!
Alongside this, ClashMusic has been counting down the days to December 25th with a series of free downloads. Rightly celebrated imprint Moshi Moshi have teamed up with us, unlocking the doors to their back catalogue.
Giving away a series of free downloads, the label have today decided to showcase American newcomer Idiot Glee. Just one man and his loop pedal, Idiot Glee takes his name from a term covering profound naivety spawned by Brian Eno.
Mixing gentle electronics with a doo wop sensibility, Idiot Glee layers his voice to create a one man choir. Recently releasing his debut single through the label, the singer is now putting the finishing touches to his debut album.
But all that is set to come in 2011. Until then, Idiot Glee is set to pop on his pipe and slippers and nestle by the fire. Tackling a festive classic, hopefully this year really will be a 'White Christmas'...
