New York producer FaltyDL is set to release his second album 'You Stand Uncertain' this March.

Born from the soundsystems of Brixton, dubstep is now a global phenomenon. In New York, nights such as Dub War established the sound in the city giving rise to a new breed of producer.

Sure, the bro-step phenomenon may be a little alienating but forward thinking Stateside dubstep has produced the likes of FaltyDL.

With glitchy post-garage beats and a habit of avoiding the press, FaltyDL gave rise to numerous Burial comparisons. Lazy journalistic cliche aside, the pair share little aside from an inventive touch with vocal samples.

Signed to Planet Mu, FaltyDL dropped his debut album in 2009. Since then, the producer has released several remixes for the likes of Scuba, The xx and more.

Retreating to his studio to work on another long player, FaltyDL is now set to unleash the results. 'You Stand Uncertain' is due to be released on March 14th, featuring two special guest appearances.

FaltyDL has teamed up with Anneka on the new album, as well as inviting UK-based singer Lily McKenzie to join proceedings. Adding her vocals on 'Waited Patiently' McKenzie is one of the first singers to work with the New York producer on a one to one basis.

Ending a silent period from FaltyDL, 'You Stand Uncertain' joins a growing number of releases termed 'post-dubstep'. With Mount Kimbie and James Blake gaining in prominence, the New Yorker's second album could reach a far wider audience.
