Dancepunk five-piece Bearsuit will unleash their eagerly anticipated album The Phantom Forest on March 14 on Fortuna POP! The 12-track long-player heralds a fierce new sound for the band, who have swapped violins, flutes and horns for dirty synths, urgent guitars and infectious beats in the light of a dramatic line-up change.
With a sprinkling of sonic dust from big-time producer Gareth Parton (The Go Team, Breeders, Foals) the band have created a perfectly off-the-wall pop masterpiece. "Train Wreck" showcases the new, more developed sound, whilst still retaining a dash of the frenetic abbrasiveness that gained the band a huge cult following over the last few years. Their next single will be the dancefloor smasher When Will I Be Queen? due for release in Feburary.
