French producer SebastiAn is set to provide the score for the new French film 'Notre Jour Viendra'.

A mainstay on the cult imprint Ed Banger, SebastiAn is known for his face melting electro style. A sought after remix artist, the producer tends to push the volume into the red and let the noise seep through.

However on a new film score SebastiAn will apparently opt for something a little more subtle. Picked to work on the soundtrack for 'Notre Jour Viendra' the producer has responded to the tense film with a work of rare ambience.

Little is known about the plot for the new film, which was directed by Romain Gavras. The acclaimed film maker is better known for his work on music videos, especially with electronic artists.

Working with DJ Mehdi and Simian Mobile Disco, the director also assisted on the Justice tour documentary 'Across The Universe'. Last year Gavras enjoyed notoriety after directing M.I.A.'s clip 'Born Free'.

Featuring plenty of ginger-cide the video was viewed as a commentary on the way the United States deals with immigrants. The ginger theme continues on 'Notre Jour Viendra' which was initially called 'The Redheads'.

Strangely, SebastiAn is the third French dance act to tackle a film soundtrack in the past year - Daft Punk's 'Tron: Legacy' and Mr Oizo's 'Rubber' completing the trilogy.
