Mumford & Sons Team Up With Bob Dylan

Mumford & Sons are set to perform a special collaboration with Bob Dylan at the Grammy awards.

Mumford & Sons first trip to the United States was a disaster. Flu halted the band in their tracks, before the folk types missed their plane. Eventually making it to SXSW after an epic journey, it seems that the group used up all their bad luck.

Since then, it has been all plain sailing for Mumford & Sons. Debut album 'Sigh No More' has become a sleeper hit, gaining college airplay and word of mouth hype.

With each tour the band gain in visibility, pushing Mumford & Sons further up the Billboard charts. Now the group are gearing up for the Grammy awards, and a special collaboration with Bob Dylan.

The band are nominated in two categories, are will play their single 'The Cave' live at the ceremony. Alongside this, Mumford & Sons have confirmed a one off collaboration with Bob Dylan and the Avett Brothers.

It is not yet known which track the three acts will collaborate on, but it is widely expected to be one of the highlights of the ceremony.

The performance will be televised, and could mark an important night for the band. After this, Mumford & Sons are set to get on the first flight back to the UK, with the BRIT Awards also looming.

Nominated for a total of three awards, the ceremony on February 15th will mark the end of a breakthrough year for the folk collective.

Looking ahead, the band have confirmed support slots at two enormous shows. Mumford & Sons are set to play at Arcade Fire's upcoming show in Hyde Park, with thousands of fans due to descend on London.
