
The Goldheart Assembly are set to head up a special birthday party for indie label Fierce Panda.
Launched more than fifteen years ago, Fierce Panda has proved to be one of Britain's most influential and enduring indie labels. The imprint have launched the careers of countless acts, with previous releases from Muse, Supergrass and more.
Still going strong, Fierce Panda have confirmed a special 17th birthday party. Following in rich label tradition, the one off bash is set to be a fun filled celebration with plenty of brand new music.
The Goldheart Assembly are set to headline, having enjoyed a breakthrough year in 2010. The band are set to top the bill at the 17th anniversary party, making this their biggest headline show yet.
Launching their debut album 'Wolves & Thieves' the band secured a support slot with Band Of Horses. Heading out to the United States, on their return The Goldheart Assembly flew to Switzerland for some fresh recording sessions.
Set to pepper their set with crunching indie anthems such as 'King Of Rome' The Goldheart Assembly are sure to live up to the label's heritage.
Also on the bill are The Crookes, who are currently close to finishing a forty night European tour. Signed to Fierce Panda, the group's debut album 'Chasing After Ghosts' is set to be released on March 21st.
Finally, Kurran & Tim of Wolfnotes fame are due to play an acoustic set. The pair recently completed work on their debut album, but plan to take time out in order to toast Fierce Panda.
Taking place at the Scala, tickets for the upcoming anniversary bash are on sale now.
