Ah, The Luminaire.
ClashMusic has had some great nights in that well respected London venue. In fact, we loved it so much that we decided to run our Clash Club events in those confines, inviting some breaking talent along in the process.
But all good things must come to an end, and in a statement last month The Luminaire confirmed that it would close its doors. Keeping a sense of humour to the last, the venue's loss is a sign of the time.
More and more live music venues are struggling to stay afloat, as the recession nips at the heels of consumers. Going out with a bang, The Luminaire has arranged one final party.
Taking place in March 6th, Piano Magic will play a special one off show with Ringo Deathstarr in support. The two acts will be joined by Club AC30 DJs, who will play some cracking tunes to see out the night and - ultimately - the venue itself.
There won't be a dry eye in the house, and tickets for the show sold out weeks ago. ClashMusic has managed to get our grubby mitts on a pair, along with a signed album courtesy of Ringo Deathstarr.
Fancy winning? Just tell us what the album is called...
