How To Dress Well are streaming a languid new remix of a vintage R Kelly track.
Somewhere along the line, R&B has entered electronic music. James Blake has remixed Destiny's Child, bringing a whole new sense of depth to the group by re-working their classic pop cut 'Bills Bills Bills'.
Now Brooklyn based producer How To Dress Well has taken the trend to new heights. Escaping virally across the internet, his productions lean heavily on R&B but add a profound sense of introspection.
Replacing the glitz and glamour of R&B with dread and disillusionment, How To Dress Well has crafted a deeply affecting style of dance music. Debut album 'Love Remains' has caused a stir, despite not having a UK label yet.
Due to receive a full release later this Spring, 'Love Remains' is a challenging work which explores an inner head space. Yet it never quite loses sight of the dancefloor, becoming a Stateside contemporary of Mount Kimbie.
Now the producer has offered fans an insight into his influences. How To Dress Well regularly releases material on his website, and has decided to give away a new remix of R Kelly.
