Bonnie 'Prince' Billy and the Cairo Gang have announced their UK and European tour dates for this summer. Following the release of their album 'The Wonder Show of The World' – which is “every bit as dazzling as its title suggests” (Time Out) and “A smouldering show- stopper.” (Metro), the trio prepare to dazzle their European fans with material from the new album on tour this summer.
Bonnie 'Prince' Billy (Will Oldham) and the Cairo Gang (Emmett Kelly and Shazhad Ismaily) have previously released the album entitled 'Lie Down In The Light' together, whilst Bonnie and Emmett have recorded together with others on Bonnie 'Prince' Billy albums. The new album is assembled with riffs from Emmett's guitar, along with the lyricism of Bonnie's heart. Ultimately, the album is a masterpiece made by men who wanted the music to sound as good as it felt to make.
