
Newcastle indie outfit Detroit Social Club have announced details of a lengthy British tour.
Not known as a musical hot spot, the North East has been re-energised of late. A slew of new groups have emerged, with Newcastle indie outfit Detroit Social Club amongst the first onto the tracks.
Releasing a single last year the band have followed this with their debut album 'Existence'. out now, the record has delighted fans and pushed the group's name across the country.

Now Detroit Social Club are set to take their music to the nation. The band have confirmed a number of shows across the country in order to promote their recently released debut album 'Existence'.
The band will kick start the eight show trek in Birmingham's Rainbow venue on October 8th. Moving across the nation, Detroit Social Club have confirmed shows in Manchester, London, Glasgow and more.
Detroit Social Club have confirmed a hometown show in Newcastle on October 9th. A no doubt raucous affair, the show is a 'thank you' to fans who have supported them since the beginning.
Taking place on October 9th in Newcastle's Academy 2, tickets for the show go on sale soon. Finishing in Leeds' Faversham on October 16th the tour follows a summer of festival engagements for the band.
