Former Oasis frontman turned style guru Liam Gallagher has donated a guitar to a new charity auction.
Liam Gallagher has a reputation for being a surly, confrontational type but deep down the singer is a softy. Check out the songs he actually wrote for Oasis - most of them are actually ballads.
Now the singer has shown his charitable side. Liam Gallagher is a noted dog lover, and leaped at the chance to help out the new canine charity PUP AID.
The charity runs events all year round, but has now decided to launch the UK's first charity boutique music festival. A fun celebrity-judged dog show launching in Central London PUP AID aims to mix exciting events with a serious message.
Opening a charity auction, Liam Gallagher donated a signed Epiphone Guitar. The classic design was used by his brother Noel Gallaher but it seems that the frontman is a fan of the guitar as well.
Signed by Liam Gallagher, the singer was joined by wife Nicole Appleton, their beloved Dachshund 'Ruby Tuesday' and TV vet Marc Abraham to launch PUP AID in the Gibson Guitar Showroom.
PUP AID takes place in Brighton on September 19th, aiming to raise awareness of puppy farming - the cruel practice of breeding dogs purely to sell them. Vet Marc Abraham praised the involvement of Liam Gallagher.
"As a massive Oasis fan I'm honoured Liam and Nicole are involved and helping me to promote dog welfare as well as raising much-needed funds for both rescue and the research into the health and happiness of all dogs."
