Blink 182 have added three more shows to their forthcoming British arena tour.
ClashMusic doesn't necessarily agree with the concept of guilty pleasures, but if ever there was a case in point then Blink 182 are it.
The Californian trio have acted as an entrance point for a generation of music fans, many of whom have moved onto more 'credible' acts. However the band's reformation last year caused a ripple of nostalgia.
An always entertaining singles act, Blink 182 reformed after drummer Travis Barker was almost killed in an air crash. Seriously injured, the trio reconnected during long visiting hours in hospital.
Announcing their reformation at the Grammy awards, Blink 182 went on to confirm a British tour. Four dates were initially confirmed, with tickets selling out within minutes of going on sale last Friday (November 26th).
As a result, the band have added three more shows to their British tour. Opening in Sheffield on July 7th, the extra dates include performances in Cardiff as well as a second show at London's O2 Arena.
The band are stubbornly refusing to add a Scottish date, fuelling rumours amongst fans that Blink 182 are set to confirm a slot at T In The Park.
Tickets for the Sheffield and Cardiff shows are on sale now. Meanwhile, passes for the second London O2 Arena show went on sale last week.
