Belle & Sebastian are to see out 2010 by streaming a live show from Glasgow's Barrowlands.
It's been a big year for Belle & Sebastian. The band's appearance at the Matador party seemed to underline their Stateside profile, while work on a new album came to a close with the release of 'Write About Love'.
Hailed by critics as a confident return, 'Write About Love' saw Belle & Sebastian clean up their ramshackle indie pop. Playing some celebratory tour dates, the band was invited to curate All Tomorrow's Parties.
The Glasgow based group invited some friends along, with Bowlie 2 containing some special guest stars. Franz Ferdinand played an unannounced set, while the surprises continued across the weekend.
Now Belle & Sebastian will turn their sights towards a short British tour. Set to play dates across the country, the Scottish group will finish the jaunt with four sold out nights in their hometown of Glasgow.
Taking place in the historic Barrowlands venue the shows have been sold out for some time. However in a new move Belle & Sebastian have decided to stream the show on December 21st across the internet.
The performance will be available on NPR Music, with the company saying: "Stuart Murdoch and the rest of the band will dig deep into their archives to share popular classics, long-lost fan favorites and a few festive surprises."
Sounds pretty cool. Stream the show HERE.
