Sheffield dancehall don Toddla T and Roska have announced a team up in a bizarre new video.
2011 promises to be a busy year for Toddla T. The Sheffield dancehall producer has now moved to London, taking time off to focus on his personal life and a spot of DJing. Recently heading out to Jamaica to record new material, early demos saw the producer make the switch to Ninja Tune.
A new track recently appeared on the label's anniversary compilation, with Toddla T set to release his long awaited second album next year. Roots Manuva is widely rumoured to make a return appearance, with a lengthy guest list.
Meanwhile, Toddla T is set to work with UK Funky kingpin Roska. One of the fathers of the scene, Roska has released a string of vital cuts which have both established and expanded the UK Funky template.
Recently teaming up with Untold for a truly thunderous 12 inch on Glasgow's Numbers imprint, Roska is now planning to work with Toddla T.
A potentially incredible pairing, the duo announced the news to the work in a frankly bizarre video on YouTube. Could the two have been indulging in the delicate herb? Who knows...
