Northern Irish dance punks Two Door Cinema Club are set to perform at next year's Evolution.

Emerging from Bangor, Two Door Cinema Club were given a mixed reaction by critics. However the band have managed to overcome this, with near constant touring building a massive fanbase.

Playing well over 200 shows in 2010, Two Door Cinema Club have watched as the venues crank up in size. Set to play their biggest UK tour to date in the Spring, the band have now confirmed a slot at Evolution.

One of the largest urban festivals in the UK, the Newcastle event is set to return with a new line up. Evolution runs between May 28th and 29th, taking control of the rejuvenated quayside area of the city.

A marker of the progress Newcastle has made, the quayside is now a bustling area devoted to the arts. The perfect place to host Evolution, the festival has confirmed a number of new additions to its bill.

Elsewhere, Radio 1 DJ Annie Mac is set to appear while chart busting grime pop outlaw Tinie Tempah is also planning to perform.

Canadian producer Caribou enjoyed a hugely successful 2010, following the release of 'Swim'. A massive critical success, 'Swim' was followed by increasingly stunning live shows including a tour with Four Tet.

Now one of the most engrossing acts in live electronica, Caribou are due to perform at Evolution alongside appearances from local boys done good Detroit Social Club and Fenech Soler.

Evolution runs between May 28th - 29th.
