Kitsune are set to usher in a new generation of French producers with the compilation 'Kitsune Parisien'.
Ten years ago, the French music scene seemed dated and stale. Now, though, Paris sits at the centre of the electro-house scene giving the world countless acclaimed producers, DJs and songwriters.
The waves of talent show no signs of abating. Ever so hip label Kitsune is gathering some of the finest new producers around on their 'state of the nation' style compilation 'Kitsune Parisien'.
Due out later this year, 'Kitsune Parisien' collects some of the finest electronic producers around. Selected by label head-honcho Gildas Loaëc and Int party hopper/artist ‘André’ Saraiva, the album is a fantastic cross-section of the current producers rocking Parisian nightlife.
Loaëc helped launch Daft Punk and has sat at the helm of Kitsune for fifteen years, helping to spark Paris into life. Former graff artist turned scene maker 'André’ Saraiva has aided the A&R guru, after turning towards music himself.
Opening with Destin, other artists on the compilation include Birkii, Yan Wagner, Housee De Racket, Jupiter and more.
Centred on the Paris scene, 'Kitsune Parisien' is also a pop up store in the heart of the city. Hosted by the label, the frontage was designed by Monsieur A. and contains brand new collector items, high quality garments and of course plenty of music.
Featuring some one off designs and collaborations, the store looks well worth the Eurostar fare.
