Bjork is set to soundtrack a new iPad application which takes fans on a journey across the solar system.
Bjork has always been keenly aware of the natural world. The singer has spoken out on behalf of environmental causes, and is currently working on a new set of tracks under the title 'Biophilia'.
Far from ready for release, the singer has been tempted to use one track as an instrumental. A soon to be released iPad application will benefit from Bjork on the soundtrack, who has contributed a brand new song.
A press release for 'Solar System' confirmed the news, with Bjork's music soundtracking a journey into outer space. The track is entirely instrumental, but could be drawn from recent sessions with Michael Gondry.
The award winning director is teaming up with the Icelandic singer for a "scientific musical" project Bjork is working on. Could this be 'Biophilia'? Wait and see...
