The 2 Bears are set to release a new remix EP featuring contributions from Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs and more.
2010 was a big year for Joe Goddard. In addition to work on his acclaimed solo album the producer had the small matter of a Hot Chip release to attend to, alongside his superb Greco-Roman imprint.
As if that wasn't enough, Joe Goddard then formed one half of The 2 Bears. Formed with Raf Rundell, the pair have released two perfectly formed EPs thus far, blending fun and frisky house with a pop touch.
Recently releasing their 'Curious Nature' EP, The 2 Bears have handed the original tapes over to a series of producers for a special remix project.
The re-cast 'Curious Nature' is set to be released on February 14th. Southern Fried are due to handle the new EP, which features contributions from some familiar faces.
Signed to Greco-Roman, Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs have re-worked The 2 Bears. The much hyped London producer released two fantastic EPs in 2010, mixing dancehall, house, techno and more.
Spinning The 2 Bears around, Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs has returned a fun new remix of 'Lunatics' - originally by the Fun Boy Three. Elsewhere, Midland, DJ Sneak, Gingy and Supabeatz all take a turn in re-jigging the loveable duo.
Currently working on their debut album, The 2 Bears have been busy of late. An Annie Mac mini mix was followed by a full Radio One session in Maida Vale before Gilles Peterson invited the pair to his Christmas party.
Receiving warm acclaim, The 2 Bears are scheduled to release their debut album this Autumn.
The 2 Bears are set to release 'Curious Nature - Remixes' on February 14th.
