Tickets are now on sale for upcoming British shows from American rockers The Black Crowes.
Emerging at the dawn of the 90s, The Black Crowes seemed to exist in a world of their own. Split between hair metal and grunge, the rock scene appeared to have little room for a roots rock combo.
In love with Bob Dylan and The Band, The Black Crowes swapped invention for personality. Carving out a sound of their own, the band were not inventive but re-connected audiences with a different style of rock music.
Rewarded with enormous success, The Black Crowes have been on the road constantly for two decades. Announcing a 20th anniversary tour last year, the band intend to take an extended holiday.
Going on hiatus, The Black Crowes have not split but simply wish to spend time with their family. Wrapping out their sold out American tour with a six night run at the Filmore, the band now set their sights on Europe.
Announcing a massive continental tour, The Black Crowes have confirmed details of the European leg of the “Say Goodbye To The Bad Guys” tour. An in-joke reflecting their critical standing, the band have mixed classic cuts with rarities and special cover versions.
The set list changes each night, with Black Crowes delving deep into their back catalogue. Opening in Manchester on July 11th, the tour includes two nights at London's Shepherd's Bush Empire.
Moving back onto the continent, the tour concludes with a special two night stand in Amsterdam.
