The View are set to play a special one off acoustic slot at This Feeling in London tomorrow night (January 28th).
The View like to graft. Each member of the band held down a day job in the beginning of the group, matching extensive rehearsal sessions with some actual, real life responsibilities.
It seems that this work ethic has not gone away. The Dundee group retreated to Liverpool to work on their soon to be released third album, and sessions resulted in an enormous batch of material.
Announcing a massive British tour, The View intend to begin in smaller, intimate venues before tackling larger shows later in the year. Allowing fans to get to grips with new material, the band are also due to play a number of impromptu gigs.
London club-night This Feeling has captured the Scottish indie rock rascals, with The View due to play an acoustic set tomorrow night (January 28th).
Previewing material from their new album 'Bread And Circuses' the band will also hit the decks for a quick DJ session. Joining the group will be a line up of This Feeling regulars, including Dan Ralph Martin.
Close friends with Kasabian, Dan Ralph Martin is the band's tour DJ. Spinning classic cuts to keep the crowds happy, he also enjoys throwing a few curveballs which the dancefloor might not recognise.
A mixture of classic soul, indie, psych and more the DJ will be joined by Soul Boy Mystic Colective DJ as well as some special live acts.
As a special bonus, This Feeling have managed to grab their hands on an exclusive track from The View. Taken from their upcoming album, 'Sunday' is a relaxing acoustic flavoured track to get you in the mood.
