An undoubtedly influential album, The Strokes are now set to return after a five year break. The New York outfit took time out, focussing on a series of solo projects before re-uniting last year.
New album 'Angles' is due to be released on March 21st - March 22nd for our Stateside readers - and fans are anxious to hear the final results.
Going live at 7.35pm last night (February 9th) the band made their new single available as a free download. On first listen, 'Under Cover Of Darkness' has the group's trademark cool, but the effects on Julian Casablancas' voice are bewildering.
An immediate guitar heavy track, The Strokes are on rampant form. Available for just 48 hours, the track will then be released as a limited edition seven inch single just in time for Record Store Day.
