
Pulp are amongst the latest acts to be confirmed to appear at Heineken Open'er.
Fast approaching its tenth anniversary, Open'er is leading a new charge by festivals in Eastern Europe. The area is rapidly becoming a hotbed for new events, with cheap flights placing the inventive weekenders within reach of British music fans.
Planning a very special party, Open'er are continually aiming to expand the bill. Britpop legends Pulp are due to make a very special appearance, playing one of their first ever shows on Polish soil.
Led by Jarvis Cocker, the group are set to have a busy summer after confirming a host of festival appearances. Due to perform at T In The Park and Oye, the band will now add Open'er to the schedule.
Other new additions include Scottish singer Paolo Nutini, who has added Open'er to a schedule which also passes by RockNess. Liverpool indie merchants The Wombats will appear at the Polish festival, which runs from June 30th to July 3rd.
The new additions join a deeply eclectic bill. Headliners Coldplay will rub shoulders with electronic heroes Caribou. Youssou N'Dour is due to appear, while indescribable American rockers Primus are due to break cover with a set at Open'er.
Meanwhile, London born singer M.I.A. will bring the festival to a close. An incendiary live act, the New York based songwriter recently returned with the free download 'Vicki Leakz' mixtape.
Always outspoken, M.I.A. will make a rare visit to Eastern Europe to bring the tenth anniversary instalment of the Polish festival to a close.
Open'er runs between June 30th - July 3rd.
