Wiley is set to release his new album '100% Publishing' through Big Dada on July 4th.
One of the grime scene's most visible exports, Wiley has led a startling if difficult to follow career. Scoring the odd hit of two, the rapper has balanced this with near impeccable underground credentials.
Releasing some of his earliest material on Big Dada, the rapper recently confirmed that he is set to return to the imprint. Wiley tends to chew through labels the way dogs chew through a lead, but this relationship looks to be a happy one.
Working on a batch of new material, Wiley has now confirmed the release of a new album. '100% Publishing' is so-called to reflect the fact that the rapper has written and produced the record on his own.
With no guest performers, this is the uncompromising album Wiley has always threatened to make. Little has been heard of the new material, although the rapper does plan to release 'Numbers In Action' on May 16th.
The track is due to be given a couple of special remixes, with dancehall duo Sticky and Toddla T taking charge. Drawn from the new album, '100% Publishing' is due to follow on July 4th.
Wiley has confirmed a new tour to run alongside the upcoming release. 'The Elusive Tour' is set to open in Newcastle on April 5th, before dates continue in Newcastle, Sheffield, Manchester and more.
The tour winds its way around the country before finishing in London on April 14th. Taking place in Islington Academy, the shows will see Wiley introduce material from '100% Publishing' to his fans.
