Los Angeles noise pop duo No Age are to release their new album 'Everything In Between' later this year.

With a strictly DIY aesthetic, No Age have nonetheless managed to make wild artistic progressions. From their early noise pop singles the band honed their songwriting on debut album 'Nouns'.

Celebrated by critics, the duo toured across the United States and beyond. No Age maintained a base in Los Angeles, however, and retreated there to record last year's stunning EP 'Losing Feeling'.

Containing some sound art techniques, 'Losing Feeling' was a mixture of the band's noise pop strains alongside a host of found sounds and samples.

Earlier this year No Age revealed that they were working on new material. Self-recorded as ever, 'Everything In Between' will be released on September 28th with Seattle label Sub Pop handling the album.

Speaking to Pitchfork, Randy Randall explained that the new album would progress with the sample based approach found on 'Losing Feeling'. "It's kind of a sound-collage element that's rooted in the songwriting process for some of the tracks, and some of them are sort of straight-up songs with textures and flurries of sampled sounds..." he explained.

"It's not a whole lot different than from what we have done in the past; there's no big departures. But the creative process is evolving more."

No Age are set to release the new album this September, alongside a lengthy tour. The band are due to play Field Day this summer, as well as dropping by Edinburgh for the world famous Fringe festival.

Tantalisingly, No Age have also been added to the bill for the forthcoming Pavement / Sonic Youth team up. Taking place on September 30th in the Hollywood Bowl, it is by far the band's biggest live appearance to date.

No Age are due to release 'Everything In Between' on September 28th.
