Scottish rock outfit Biffy Clyro needed medical attention after singer Simon Neill fell awkwardly at Glastonbury.

Biffy Clyro are famed for their live show, with heavy touring arguably playing a major role in turning them into one of Britain's biggest rock acts. Currently playing a series of British dates, the band took time out to storm Glastonbury at the weekend.

The Ayrshire trio were one of the series of surprises peppered throughout the weekend. Following hot on the heels of Radiohead the band played a surprise set to the shock of fans crowded in front of the Park Stage.

The band blasted through a crowd pleasing array of hits, beginning with 'The Golden Rule'. The set drew heavily on the group's recent album, continuing with 'Living Is A Problem Because Everything Dies'.

Always lively onstage, Biffy Clyro played 'Bubbles' and 'Who's Got A Match?'. Ending on 'The Captain' singer Simon Neill climbed on top of a speaker.

Saluting the crowd, he leaped off but landed awkwardly. Gesturing to the medics, the singer was given a short burst of treatment but managed to walk offstage.

The Biffy Clyro frontman suffered from a bad sprain, but this has not affected the band's touring schedule. The group are set for a busy summer after confirming some of their biggest headline slots to date.

The Scottish group are due to play Wembley, alongside a return to Balado bash T In The Park. A home from home, this will be the first time the band have played T In The Park in some years.

'Living Is A Problem Because Everything Dies'
'Glitter And Trauma'
'Bubbles'
'Who's Got A Match?'
