Northern Irish electro-rockers Two Door Cinema Club are set to re-issue their cult debut album.
Bursting out of Northern Ireland, Two Door Cinema Club have made a big noise in a short time. The electro-rockers were tempted to release a single with uber-hip French label Kitsune before beginning work on their debut album.
Released to widespread acclaim last year, the band have developed a cult following in part due to their live show. Touring across the country and beyond, 'Tourist History' seemed to document their travels.
Remixed extensively, the band's performances have increasingly blurred the lines between dance and rock. Now Two Door Cinema Club are set to re-issue 'Tourist History' with some bonus material.
Alongside the original album the new version will contain unreleased track 'Kids'. Alongside this, the band have collected some of their favourites remixes containing some unusual interpretations.
As well as the usual big names, one remix has come courtesy of an unknown fan. 'What You Know' was the subject of a fan competition, with producer Cassian coming out on top of over 250 entrants.
The bonus disc includes a 60 minute documentary, showcasing the band's travels. Two Door Cinema Club have visited several different continents since the release of their debut album, bringing a camera along the way.
The result is an unusual and very evocative document of their travels across the globe. Containing plenty of interviews and live footage, Two Door Cinema Club have shown a different side to them.
