Glasvegas have been added to the line up of this year's epic Scottish festival RockNess.

Scotland's wildest party, RockNess is almost upon us once again. The festival is located in a pastoral valley beside the banks of Loch Ness, adding a scenic backdrop to the award winning musical entertainment.

This year, RockNess has unleashed a particularly tasty bill. Headliners include dance giants The Chemical Brothers, making a long awaited return visit to the Highland fling. Kasabian are set to preview their new material with a special set, while Paolo Nutini has been chosen to close the three day event.

Tickets for the festival are on sale now, with early bird packages still available. The line up is always expanding, with RockNess organisers announcing a host of new names earlier today (February 24th).

Indie titans Glasvegas are set to perform at the Highland event, fresh from their second album '/// Euphoric Heartbreak \\\'. An always seismic live band, the returning drone merchants attract a particularly wild audience when playing in Scotland.

Set to unleash their second album later this year, Glasvegas join a typically eclectic bill. Elsewhere, dubstep supergroup Magnetic Man are set to perform following a hugely successful 2010.

Opening the year with a new single, Magnetic Man have taken bass music into the charts. Live, the trio are a different proposition taking their often pop centred music into extreme territories.

American turntablist DJ Shadow is set to play this year's RockNess, while The Cribs, We Are Scientists and more have been confirmed. Scottish group Frightened Rabbit played a titanic set in 2009, and will be seeking to repeat that performance when making a return visit later this summer.

With Simian Mobile Disco, Mark Ronson, Boys Noize and more confirmed it seems that this summer's instalment of RockNess could be hotter than ever.

RockNess is due to take place between June 10th - 12th.
